Kailash Krishnaswamy is the CEO of Huarui Aero, which is established in Zhejiang Province to support COMAC’s CR929 composite aircraft. He is also the General Manager of Spirit China with responsibilities including business development, operations and management of Spirit’s Joint Ventures in China. Kailash’s is also the head of Mergers & Acquisitions of Spirit Aerosystems with responsibilities include sourcing and executing strategically aligned acquisitions and divestitures in Commercial Aerospace and Defense.
Kailash joined Spirit Aerosystems from United Technologies Corporation (UTC) where he was a Senior Director in Corporate M&A. In that role, he was responsible for several companywide business and financial strategic projects including digital transformation, additive manufacturing, capital markets alternatives, divestitures and M&A.
Prior to UTC, Kailash held investment banking positions at Credit Suisse, where he developed and executed M&A transactions in the Aerospace & Defense sector. Kailash began his career at Honeywell Aerospace providing technology strategy, competitive intelligence, intellectual property and innovation portfolio expertise to internal R&D teams.
Kailash has an MBA (Honors) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He earned a Ph.D. (Fellow) in mechanical control systems from the University of Minnesota and is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
