On September 29th, the ground-breaking ceremony of the landmark project, main plant of Huarui Aerospace Manufacturing Project,is held in Qiantang District, Hangzhou.

Vice Provincial Governor Gao Xingfu announced the groundbreaking of the main plant.Ke Jixin, Deputy Mayor of Hangzhou, Secretary of the Party & Labour Union  and Secretary of Qiantang District Party Committee, Wei Yingbiao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and Deputy General Manager of COMAC delivered speeches respectively. Guests from related provincial departments, banks, shareholders and business partners also attend the ceremony. Xie Ping, Party Secretary and chairman of ZME, chairman of Huarui presides over the ceremony.

The total investment of the project is approximately about RMB 10 billion, covering a total area of 594 mu with a planned construction area of 538,000 square meters. It will meet the requirements of supporting the production of Chinese large commercial aircraft, and support the development, test flight and mass production of CR929.

 Chairman Xie Ping, on behalf of Huarui,  expressed her gratitude to the supporters from the government, COMAC, and partners. Xie states that Huarui, a supplier of CR929 and a new force in aerospace manufactiong industry, will develop with great confidence and try every effort to become a excellent and robust company, contributiong to laying a solid foundation for the development of Zhejiang's aerospace and aviation platform.
